Watermark PDF
Stamp a text watermark across every page of a PDF
This tool stamps a text watermark — like CONFIDENTIAL, DRAFT, or a company name — diagonally across every page of a PDF, directly in your browser.
How to add a watermark
Upload a PDF, type your watermark text, then adjust opacity, font size, and angle to taste. Click Add Watermark to generate the stamped PDF.
Common uses for watermarks
Watermarks are commonly used to:
- Mark draft documents before final review
- Label confidential or internal-only material
- Discourage unauthorized redistribution of a document
- Brand shared PDFs with a company or project name
Is my document uploaded anywhere?
No. The watermark is drawn onto each page entirely in your browser using the pdf-lib library. Your document never leaves your device.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use an image or logo as a watermark instead of text?
This tool currently supports text watermarks only. Image watermark support may be added in a future update.
Will the watermark cover important content?
The watermark is drawn at a low default opacity (30%) so it sits behind the readable text — adjust the opacity slider if you want it lighter or bolder.
Can I remove a watermark added by this tool later?
Not with this tool — once saved, the watermark is part of the page content, similar to printing on paper.
