Sign PDF
Draw or type a signature and place it anywhere on your PDF
This tool lets you sign a PDF by drawing your signature with your mouse or finger, or by typing your name in a signature-style font, then placing it anywhere on the page.
How to sign a PDF
Upload a PDF, choose Draw or Type, create your signature, then pick the page number and position where it should appear. Click Sign PDF to generate the signed document.
When is this useful?
This tool is handy for signing:
- Contracts and agreements
- Consent forms and waivers
- Letters and official correspondence
- Any document that needs a personal signature quickly
Is this a legally binding e-signature?
This tool places a visual signature image onto your PDF, similar to signing a printout and scanning it. It does not provide cryptographic signature verification required for some legal or regulated e-signature workflows — check your use case's requirements first.
Frequently asked questions
Is my document uploaded anywhere?
No. Your signature and document are combined entirely in your browser using the pdf-lib library — nothing is sent to a server.
Can I resize my signature?
The signature is placed at a standard size automatically. For a different size, try drawing a larger or smaller signature in the canvas area.
Can I add my signature to multiple pages?
This version signs one page per run — sign the PDF, download it, then re-upload the result to add a signature to another page.
