Rotate PDF
Rotate every page of a PDF by 90, 180, or 270 degrees
This tool rotates every page of a PDF by 90, 180, or 270 degrees — useful for fixing documents that were scanned sideways or upside down.
How to rotate a PDF
Upload a PDF, choose a rotation angle (90° Left, 90° Right, or 180°), then click Rotate PDF. All pages are rotated the same way.
When is this useful?
Rotating a PDF is helpful when:
- A scanned document was fed sideways into the scanner
- A phone photo of a document ended up rotated
- You need a landscape document to display as portrait, or vice versa
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. Rotation is applied entirely in your browser using the pdf-lib library — your file is never sent to a server.
Frequently asked questions
Can I rotate only some pages instead of all of them?
This tool rotates every page by the same amount. For per-page rotation, use the Organize PDF tool instead.
Will rotating reduce PDF quality?
No, rotation only changes the page orientation metadata — the underlying content is untouched.
Can I rotate a password-protected PDF?
Not currently — encrypted PDFs aren't supported. Remove the password using your PDF reader first.
